Tasting Notes

There was a Red Electric interurban train route in Portland linking Forest Grove and Beaverton to SW Portland between 1914 and 1929. This is where Red Electric Wines got its name. The 2021 Red Electric TGV Pinot Noir follows the train theme and is named after a French train. Do you know anything about the TGV? I have a little story to share about the TGV coming up in Saturday's newsletter. Be sure to subscribe before Saturday at 6:10 am to get all the details about my story and what is behind the 2021 TGV Pinot Noir label by visiting the Link in the Bio. Looking into the glass, my emotions are all giddy. I see how dark this is and immediately know I am in for a treat of deep, dark red fruits. That first sniffy sniff reinforces my assumptions. Upon entry, those dark fruits expand, sliding effortlessly onto the mid-palate. The tannins are nicely integrated, allowing all of the spices to take over into a blissful taste, making you wish you were on a TGV in France speeding away into the heart of Paris for a midday croissant. 👇 👇 👇 👇 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 Would you like to get a Saturday morning email once a month to read with your coffee giving you insider tips on events, news, and an in-depth perspective on a winery?
