Tasting Notes

It’s been a great summer weekend full of sun and being outside! Tonight I grabbed a bottle I forgot all about. A couple of months back, Sara introduced me to Domaine Divio’s 2021 Aligote. I enjoyed it so much that I got a couple of bottles. I am not aware of anyone else in Oregon producing an Aligote, which is often referred to as Burgundy’s “other” white grape. On a warm day like today, this was phenomenal! It is a dry white wine and a balanced flavor profile. It gently grabs your attention on entry, opening up a bit more on the mid-palate and a long gentle finish. It’s nice to have something a little different! Next time you’re at Domaine Divio, tell Sara, “Hi” for me and try the Aligote! . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter. Link in the Bio! 🍷
