How can I pass up National Drink Wine Day? Even though I enjoy celebrating this day, it makes me wonder who made this joyous day happen and their reasoning behind it. Does anyone know?
I decided to open up a bottle from the Gorge. Way back when introduced this wine to me. It is a 2018 Mencia from Analemma. The number of domestic producers who have a Mencia is super crazy rare. We are so lucky to have this grape practically be in our backyard. The next time I visit the Gorge, Analemma is someplace I need to visit. I love their farming practices and their wine. I have a Blanc de Noir from them. I need to open soon.
