Tasting Notes
If you have been following along for a while, you know that whenever I post a bottle from Ricochet (@ricochetwine), I just finished a Cormac McCarthy book. The recent book in my McCarthy journey was No Country For Old Men. When the movie came out, I adored the heck out of it! Typically, the book is ALWAYS better, and of course, this followed suit.
If you are not aware of this ritual, when I interviewed Erich for the podcast, I found out he had his High School Senior AP English class read The Road.
If you have not dove into Erich's wines, you have seriously got to pay him a visit. I was talking with Kristy from @kristys_winetravels last week about how marvelous Erich's wines are. We both agreed that his wines are underrated.
If you need an excuse to get out into wine country over Memorial Day weekend, Erich is heading up the Indie Wine Mixer (@indiewinemixer) again this year. Along with Ricochet, there are going to be some fabulous producers.
The 2021 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is beyond delicious! Taste it for yourself. Make an appointment with Erich, or check it out at the Indie Wine Mixer!
