Tasting Notes
I don't open many bottles from Walter Scott because I have told myself, "Don't open these bottles for a long time." It's so hard when I know how great they are! They are sitting there, needing a little attention. What does one do? Well, you gotta open a bottle now and then to see "Where it's at."
The 2021 Walter Scott Hyland Chardonnay is showing off impeccably well! What I enjoy about this wine is how that wild, racy energy grabs your attention on the mid-palate and lingers forever on the finish while being lean with the perfect amount of acidity.
