Tasting Notes
The sun is starting to come out more. It is getting lighter earlier in the day, darkness is no longer overtaking us at 5:00, and the flowers are in bloom. Springtime is here, and I couldn’t be happier!
The 2021 Shumaker Vineyards (@shumakervineyards) Pinot Gris hits the spot tonight. I haven’t been the biggest Pinot Gris, but I am starting to come around a bit. Tasting the Rieslings last week, and now this doesn’t hurt one bit. I like the stone fruit flavors emphasized mid-palate with a slow dissipation on the finish. Coming in at 12.2% ABV doesn’t hurt one bit at all. I have a newsletter to write tonight!
What are some other Pinot Gris you enjoy?
