Tasting Notes

Wine has magical transportation powers! Four weeks ago, I was in Eugene for the Wine Media Conference. A small group of us got together to explore the Urban Wine Tasting Room Scene, and one of the wineries on our route was Bennett Vineyards. During our tasting, we explored a vertical of their Pinots. I had to ask about the 2017, and they opened one up for us. I am so glad they did! I bought a couple of bottles, and tonight I am instantly transported back four weeks. I should have bought more bottles to stay on vacation and live summer to its fullest constantly! The nose is gorgeous with bright, crisp red fruit translating to a vibrant mid-palate and an ever-lasting finish. I adored the heck out of the 2017 Reserve from Bennett Vineyards four weeks ago, and I am still enjoying it now. When you visit downtown Eugene check it out and let me know what you think! . . . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter. Link in the Bio!
