Tasting Notes
If you are reading this post, you are on a wine journey of sorts. It could be a journey to sip a nice glass on a Friday night, or you might be embarking on a quest to taste as many wines as possible from all over. Myself, I fall somewhere in the middle. As many of you know, Oregon has some killer wines, and I enjoy as many as I can, but (yes, there is always a but) there are so many wines out there in the world.
Over the last year, I have seen posts from @topochinesvino, mainly the Oregon ones, but there have been many obscure amazing wines posted. Mid-January, I decided to join the @topochinesvino wine club, and I decided to dive into this Teran from Croatia. I have to tell you, wow! Reading about the Teran grape is tannic-ky, but with this being a 2009, those tannins are integrated so very nicely. The fruit is still blowing my mind a bit. Excuse me while I enjoy some more.
