Tasting Notes
It has been too long since I have enjoyed a bottle of Gold Eagle from Domaine Serene. It is a label you don’t hear much about, but it is in my top three from Domaine Serene. I would describe it as a smooth, gentle ride down a river with minimal current. No surprises, nothing reaches out to grab you and says, “Drink me,” but solid in so many ways. I would drink this wine on the weekend at the beach with the sliding glass door open, listening to the ocean, fireplace going, and dozing in and out of sleep as I read.
