Tasting Notes

2020 has been many things for me. One fascinating journey for me has been exploring Chardonnay more and more. I opened this Chardonnay from Audeant, and it blew me away. Right upfront, this wine commanded some attention, and of course, I complied. Some Chardonnays are pleasant to drink and are great to sip on. There are other Chardonnays where the acidity creates some sort of magic, and your knees grow weak. To say this, Chard falls in between the two would not do it justice. Dare I say big and bold? Is that even possible for a Chardonnay? I don’t have the language of how this hits me and sticks around for quite some time. Yeah yeah, everyone knows I am an Audeant fanboy, and of course, I am going to be a cheerleader, but there’s a reason I am shaking my pom-poms like a crazy person in the freezing cold. The 2018 Audeant Chardonnay is damn good! . . . . . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter. Link in the Bio!
