Tasting Notes
What a Wild and Winederful Wednesday it has been! I have been exploring so many other varietals lately, and to open up on Pinot tonight spoke volumes to my soul. I am also very appreciative of the fact it is a fruit day on the bio-dynamic because the most on this 2014 Benevolence from Alexana was gorgeous. Typically, my little sniffer doesn’t want to cooperate with me, but the very first sniffy sniff shouted red fruit with some earth. On the palate, slight spices intertwined with bright red cherries. The silky smooth finish is a perfect accompaniment to the setting sun and slight breeze. So glad I have another bottle of this waiting for me for a good 7 – 10 years.
