Tasting Notes
It’s Monday. Why not break out the Bubbles!! Seriously, it’s been a great day of prepping for a podcast interview, doing a podcast interview, and now it is time to do some video editing for this week’s newsletter/podcast drop. I would tell you who I interviewed, but there would be no surprise come Saturday morning. If you are curious and haven’t signed up for the newsletter, there is a magical link in the bio for you!
Tonight’s bubbles while editing won best of show this year at Sunset Magazine’s wine competition. It is the 2019 Maison Jussiaume Oeil de Perdrix Rosé - “Eye of a Partridge” from winemaker Jean-Michel Jussiaume. He is also the winemaker for Del Rio Vineyards in Southern Oregon. This particular bottle is 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir. It is super light and refreshing and pairs great with a fireplace burning in the background. Cheers to Monday 🥂
