Tasting Notes

If you are reading this post, the likelihood of you being on some sort of wine journey is inevitable. Some of us are trying to figure out what we like, while others know with precision what wine fits the mood for a Thursday evening. Let’s also not forget about the gazillion paths between those two extremes. For me, the journey of wine follows the journey of life, and everyone’s approach is different. No matter where you are in the journey, own it and be confident because the person sitting across from you is just as nervous. Were you aware wine also takes a journey while in the bottle to your glass? When I first moved to Oregon from Tennessee 20+ years ago, the thinking with those close to me was that Oregon wine wasn’t made to age. Knowing what I know I now, that seems crazy beyond all belief. Did you know there is a process you can do to understand how a wine will age? Audeant is one go my favorite producers, and over the last couple of weeks, I decided to see how long their wines could age. Do you want to know what I did? Do you want to know the results? Click the link in my bio to read about my journey with the 2019 Luminous Hills and the 2019 Nysa Pinot Noir from Audeant to see how age-worthy these wines are! . . 🍷
