Tasting Notes

It’s 74, the sun is out and it doesn’t matter how many conference calls are left in the day. I moved laptops and dogs to the back deck this afternoon to bask in the sun. I will admit when I told everyone on the calls I was outside and to pardon the background noise everyone was a teeny bit jealous. I wonder what was stopping them from enjoying the sun? Anywho! Today was a great day to pop a cork on some Chard and to open the 2019 Estate Clos Gallia from Domaine Divio. And yes there are two different Chards from Divio, this one and the Willamette Valley Chard. Both are so freakin good! There’s so much body and acidity in the 2018, I can’t wait to see what this is like in 8 to 10 years if I have enough patience. Let me know what you decided to pop the cork on today to enjoy the fabulous sun today! . . . . . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter.
