Tasting Notes

The last couple of days has been great! Yesterday I was driving down I-5 with all the windows down, music going, and it felt like summer. Yeah, I know Saturday is October, but dang, there is no way I am not taking full advantage of days in the upper 70s in September! I have enjoyed exploring the 2019 Chosen Family Pinot Noir for the last few days. If you haven’t taken the time to see what happens to wine over 2-3 days, I highly suggest giving it a try. The evolution it takes is hard to comprehend at times. Yesterday when I opened the bottle, there were hints of forest floor and barnyard funk (all in a good way). Today it has transformed into this dark sultry persuasion almost equal to the sirens calling out to Homer. This was my last bottle of the 2019 Pinot, and I should have held onto it longer. If you haven’t checked out what Chosen Family is doing, take a few minutes to check ‘em out! 👇 👇 👇 👇 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 Would you like to get a Saturday morning email to read with your coffee giving you insider tips on events, news, and an in-depth perspective on a winery?
