Tasting Notes

Yes, it’s crazy hot out, and yes, I am drinking a Pinot tonight. What can I say? Something elegant and wonderful sounds absolutely delightful tonight! It’s been a while since I popped the cork on a bottle of Abbott Claim (@abbottclaim), but thinking about my interview with Alban earlier today planted the seed for tonight’s bottle. When you think of an Oregon 2018 Pinot, normally you are presented with a bigger, bolder wine because it was a hotter year. The 2018 Orientate Pinot Noir is far from big and bold. There is nothing but smooth, silky elegance in every sip! I did a little looking, and this was my last bottle of Abbott Claim. Guess I need to go back and visit in the near future.
