Tasting Notes

It’s time to open something nice for the long weekend. I looked up at one point today, and it was 4:00. I declare it felt like 11:00. Where in the world did the day go? Thank goodness I had a solid outline for the newsletter. All I have to do is fill in the details, and poof, it’s done. BTW, if you’re not subscribed to the newsletter, you are seriously missing some significant insider info about events, what is happening in Oregon Wine Country, and of course, a nice behind the scenes look at one Oregon Winery every Saturday morning delivered to your inbox at 6:10 am Pacific to pair with your morning coffee! You are also missing out on some crazy long run-on sentences. Tonight’s bottle is Elevee’s 2018 Madrona Hill Pinot. I can’t tell you the number of times I reached for this bottle and told myself no. I adore the heck out of the Madrona Hill and what Tom does is absolute magic. For dinner tonight, I had Indian, and to say it had a kick of spice is an understatement. For me, having Pinot with spicy food elevates the experience tenfold. Taking a bite of Indian followed up with a sip of Pinot amplifies the spice is turned up past eleven. What is your experience with Pinot and Indian food? . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter. Link in the Bio! 🍷
