Tasting Notes

I could have gotten a better picture for this 2018 Block 7 Shea Pinot, and for some reason, I thought this was a decent picture at the time. I have been trying not to open many 2018s, and I haven’t touched anything from Shea since I got these bottles back in March. Come on, not touching a single bottle for 8 months is huge for me! I was expecting this be show very youthful expressions, but I was surprised how integrated the tannins were for an oh so delightful spice finish. It is hotter than most Pinots coming in at 14.4, but still pretty dang delicious. . . . . . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter. Link in the Bio!
