Tasting Notes
I'm feeling the urge to revisit the theme of birthday week wines from last week. Why can't I indulge in birthday week wines all the time? I pose this question, but I'm aware that if I had birthday wines constantly, I probably wouldn't appreciate them as much as I do now.
I stumbled upon Hazelfern's 2018 Ana Vineyard Pinot Noir and it brought me great joy! It has been a while since I last enjoyed this wine, and I must say it did not disappoint in the slightest. I sense that the bold characteristics we observed in the 2018 vintage are starting to diminish slightly, revealing a softer and more beautiful side. Here's to the weekend and a heartfelt thank you to @hazelferncellars for creating such an incredible wine to kickstart the weekend!
