Tasting Notes

Did you know today is another holiday? It is National Hamburger Day, and I needed to go out on a limb to be different. I decided to make a bacon cheeseburger pizza on the grill. It’s so good, and I am stuffed with two pieces. Hopefully, the neighborhood boys will finish the rest. If you notice, I am pairing the pizza with a 2017 Krista’s Block Pinot from Bryn Mawr. You might be asking, "Why in the whole wide world of sports am I pairing a bacon cheeseburger pizza with a Pinot?" Well, there is a backstory, of course! Want to know the backstory? After a couple of hours of being opened, I still get hints of funk mixed with medium-dark fruits and a succulent spice finish telling me I need to eat more pizza. . . . . . . 📰 Want to know more about Oregon Wine and Wineries sign up for my weekly newsletter.
